Google maps locations are places (such as restaurants, viewpoints and other handy spots) that we have pinned for you in a digital map in Google Maps. After purchase, you get access to this private map and see all our favourites directly in your own Google Maps app, on your phone, Ipad or laptop. Super convenient when travelling, as you can see at a glance what's going on around you, without having to look up or save everything yourself!

And the beauty? When we discover new places, they automatically appear in your map too.

During planning:
After purchase, you'll get access to our private map of Barcelona and see all our favourite spots directly in your own Google Maps app, on your phone, iPad or laptop. So are you planning a trip? Then you can easily see which hotspots are close to each other, which restaurant is on the route and other handy places like ATMs.

Tip: Open our map on your laptop or PC so you can easily see the legend and click on the different spots. This way, you can see exactly where everything is and decide what you would like to visit during your trip!

While travelling:
On the road, of course, the most convenient way to use the map is on your phone via the Google Maps app. Make sure to turn on your location features to see exactly where you are. This way, you can find out at a glance which places are nearby. Each category has its own colour and symbol, so you can quickly see what kind of place it is.

In other words: super handy while travelling, as you can see at a glance what is going on around you, without having to look up or save everything yourself!

Tip: Since there are many addresses on the map, it's best to uncheck the layers you don't need. For example, don't need lunchspots anymore? Then uncheck that layer. This keeps your map clear. 

Here's how it works - super simple:

1. After your order, you will immediately receive a link to view our short PDF manual download.
2. In this guide, you will find step-by-step instructions on how to install the card. In addition, you will receive an email from Google titled ‘A map has been shared with you: Barcelona guide by Thousandtravelmiles‘. Click on the link in this mail while logged into your Google account and select “Open in Google Maps.”
3. Open the Google Maps app on your phone, tap at the bottom on ‘Saved’, scroll down and select ‘Maps’ (or ‘Maps’).
4. Tap ‘View legend’ to enable or hide the various categories - including any routes!

You can access this Barcelona card on any device using Google Maps. During checkout, provide your Google account. As long as you are logged in to that account, you will see the map appear immediately.
