The best period to see flower fields in the Netherlands
In spring, you will find the iconic flower fields in full bloom. Especially in April, the fields colour beautifully with all kinds of shades of red, yellow, pink and orange. The mild spring weather makes it ideal to explore the flower fields and if you are lucky you can enjoy the sunshine.
The Keukenhof, one of the largest flower gardens in the world, opens its doors from late March to mid-May and offers spectacular views of millions of tulips in bloom. This makes it a must-see for any flower lover.
