Best travel time for Sweden
You can visit Sweden all year round. So the best time to travel depends on your interests. Would you like to do a round trip in the summer? Then May to September the best option.
Please note that in the month of July themselves have holidays, which can create extra crowds.
More looking for a winter holiday in Swedish Lapland? Then you should opt for December to March. You have the greatest chance of seeing the northern lights during this period and snow is definitely there!

For European countries, citizens of the European Union have no visa required. You only need a valid passport or ID card.
Vaccinations for Sweden
No vaccinations are compulsory for Sweden. However, a vaccination against ticks is recommended if you will be hiking or camping in nature for a long time. Before leaving, check the current travel advice - vaccinations.
Daily budget for Sweden
Prices in Scandinavian countries are generally a bit higher than in the Netherlands and other European countries.
A city break to Stockholm can therefore be very expensive. Keep in mind a daily budget of around €40 per person per day. We got our lunch at the supermarket. If you want to sit on the terrace, you need to consider a budget of €80 per person per day.
