When spring begins, you see beautiful trees with white or pink flowers everywhere. These are the well-known and especially photogenic blossom trees. Besides the well-known location in the Amsterdam forest, there is another beautiful blossom location in the Netherlands! Lovers from all over the Netherlands now know how to find this street and that is not surprising. It is the perfect location for photographers, influencers and ‘outdoor’ lovers.

Blossom location in Almere

You will find this unique location on the Terracotta Streetin Almere-Buiten (The exact location is at the bottom of page!). You will find as many as 850 Japanese ornamental cherry trees at this location. It depends on how harsh the winter has been, but usually the blossoms start blooming in mid-March. They are now (1 April 2021) in full bloom.

Tip: Make sure you visit this venue on time. Our preference is an early morning between 8:00 - 9:00. After 10:00 it gets a lot busier. Is this not possible for you? Then make sure you take your time. People are generally considerate of each other.

What can you expect?

Terracotta Street is in the rainbow neighbourhood, where you will find many coloured houses. The colourful houses in the background complete the picture. Under the Japanese ornamental cherries, you will find a stone bike path and on the other side a grass strip. The latter in particular is a perfect photo location or lovely picnic spot. You can easily park your car there for free in one of the parking spaces.

Tip: Keep in mind that you are a guest in this neighbourhood. Clean up your mess or take it with you so that this remains a nice place.
