I have worn out many luggage tags over the past 20 years. The metal fastenings on these tags are nice and sturdy and have survived many more trips than previous tags. The tags themselves are also sturdy.

Unfortunately, I’m very disappointed with these aluminium luggage tags. I bought them about a month ago and, after just one flight, both tags were already bent out of shape. Precisely because they’re made of aluminium, I’d expected them to be sturdy enough to withstand normal baggage handling.
The seller states that this can happen because luggage is sometimes handled roughly at airports and that the tags can, if necessary, be gently bent back into shape. Reference is also made to any travel insurance. Personally, I do not find that a satisfactory solution. A luggage tag is specifically designed to withstand the conditions of air travel and should therefore be able to cope with normal baggage handling at an airport.
Customer service responded fairly quickly, but that doesn’t change my view of the product’s quality. If both labels are already coming loose after just one trip, I have little confidence in the product’s long-term durability.
