Whenever someone places an order via your link, you’ll automatically receive a commission.

As a Thousandtravelmiles affiliate, you’ll benefit from attractive rewards:

- 25% commission on our digital products, when they place an order via your affiliate link.
The commission is automatically recorded in your affiliate dashboard.

We are keen to work with affiliates who promote our products in a recommend in an authentic way through content, reviews or social media. We currently only accept affiliates from the Netherlands or Belgium.

What are the commissions within the affiliate programme?
As a Thousandtravelmiles affiliate, you’ll receive commission on every order placed via your affiliate link.
- 10% commission on all our physical products
- 25% commission on our digital products
The commission is automatically recorded in your affiliate dashboard.
Does it cost anything to take part?
No, joining the affiliate programme is completely free.
When will my commission be approved?
Commissions are approved once an order has been finalised and can no longer be returned.
Where can I view my statistics?
In your affiliate dashboard, you can see exactly how many clicks, sales and commission you have generated.
How do I request a payout?
As soon as you have at least €50 in commission have accrued, you can request a payout. To ensure your first payout is processed correctly, we ask you to send a one-off email to info@thousandtravelmiles.nl containing the following details:
- Your full name
- Whether, as private individual or business-related affiliate takes part
- Your IBAN (bank account number)
Are you a business affiliate? If so, we also ask for:
- Your Chamber of Commerce number
- Your VAT number
- Whether you’re taking part in the Small Business Scheme (KOR)
Following this initial verification, future payments can be processed automatically via the affiliate platform.
How are commissions calculated?
The commission is calculated on the product price excluding VAT and delivery charges. This means that the commission is based on the net price of the product purchased.
Example
Product price (excl. VAT): €50
VAT (21%): €10.50
Postage: €2.99
Total order value: €63.49
In this case, the commission is calculated on the €50 product price excluding VAT.
At a committee meeting of 10%: you’ll receive a €5 commission.
Why VAT only?
VAT is not included in our turnover, as this amount is paid to the tax authorities. Therefore, the affiliate commission is always calculated on the basis of the amount excluding VAT.
Are you a business affiliate based in the Netherlands with a valid VAT number? If so, you are responsible for correctly recording your income and any VAT in your accounts and tax return.
How long does an affiliate cookie remain active?
Our affiliate links work with a 7-day cookie duration. This means that if someone visits our website via your affiliate link, the sale will still be attributed to you if that person places an order within 7 days.
So the customer doesn’t have to buy anything straight away. If the order is placed within this period, the commission will automatically be credited to your account.
How do I create an affiliate link?
Once your account has been approved, you will have access to your affiliate dashboard. There, you can easily generate unique affiliate links to our website or specific products.
When someone visits our website via your link and places an order, the sale is automatically linked to your account.
What happens if an order is returned?
When an order is returned or cancelled, the corresponding commission is automatically adjusted in your affiliate account. This ensures that commissions are always based on finalised orders.
