1. Travelling from Langkawi to Singapore by plane
The fastest and most comfortable way to travel from Langkawi to Singapore is by plane. Multiple airlines offer flights and you have a choice of times. This is ideal because it allows you to book a flight ticket that fits your schedule exactly.
Flights depart from Langkawi's small airport and land at Changi Airport in Singapore about an hour and a half later. Tickets are often available from as little as €30, depending on the season and how far in advance you book. So just a quick rundown:
- Departure point: Langkawi International Airport
- Arrival: Changi International Airport, Singapore
- Flight time: Approx. 1.5 hours (excluding boarding and check-in time)
- Price: Tickets are available from €30 per person and can easily be booked online at 12GoAsia or Booking.com.
2. Travel from Langkawi to Singapore by boat and bus
Although we definitely recommend flying, you can also choose to travel by land and water. This route is more adventurous but takes considerably more time.
- Boat to Penang: First, take the boat from Langkawi to Penang, a trip of about three hours.
- Bus to Singapore: From Penang, travel to Singapore by bus, a journey that takes about 10 hours.
Bear in mind that this option not only takes more time, but is often more expensive than flying
