Travel from Koh Samui to Koh Toa via boat
The Thai islands of Koh Tao, Koh Samui and Koh Phangan are close together, making them ideal to combine with a tour of Thailand. Many backpackers and other types of travellers have gone before you. For instance, Koh Tao offers great diving and Koh Samui is a popular sun destination. You can easily travel from Koh Samui to Koh Tao, read how below.
The boat is the only way to get from one island to another. Several boats go every day, from different organisations. These boats leave from Pralarn Pier (Koh Samui) and arrive at Mae Haad Pier (Koh Tao).
Where to buy my boat tickets from Koh Tao to Koh Samui?
Ticket offices: Tickets can be bought at the port for around €19 p.p (700 bath).
Several times during our round trip, we chose to take the speedboat of the organisation Lomprayah (€19).

*€19,- is the average ticket price. The final price depends on the period in which you travel (high or low season) and which organisation you choose.
Tip: Arrange your transfer to the hotel in advance when you book a hotel. This service is often free on the island!
